Knowing Jesus in Grief & Loss with Jessica Satterfield
There are sacred spaces in our lives where we only get one opportunity to truly offer to God a sacrifice of praise and worship that costs us something. Knowing Jesus, communing with His heart, in grief and loss, is that sacred space. In this breakout session, Jessica shares of the deep intimacy she has found in the heart of Jesus that is available to you. You will walk away from this session with practical ways to process grief and loss with Jesus and hunger to access places of His heart that can only be found when yours is broken.
When Love Isn’t Enough: How to Maintain Hope in the Hard Places with Tammy Chatfield
In this session, we will discuss tangible ways to address difficulties faced by adoptive parents whose child/children continue to struggle with challenging behaviors that do not seem to improve or get worse. You will learn the importance of self-care and building a support network, understanding that it is imperative to be surrounded by those who impart strength when you are exhausted and hope when you feel hopeless. We will look to Scripture to combat the doubt, discouragement, and feelings of failure when things do not go as planned or hoped for in your adoption experience.
